Plasma Science and Technology Sessions in Honor of Prof. Motoi WADA on the Occasion of His Retirement

Thin Film Session in Honor of the Contributions of Prof. Joe GREENE to the Vacuum Society of the Philippines 

The Vacuum Society of the Philippines (VSP) honors the contributions of Prof. Joe Greene to the society and his life contributions to thin film research, by naming the Thin Film Session under his name. Joe’s role as the Chair of the Emerging Societies Committee of the International Union of Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA) have been instrumental in the membership of the Vacuum Society of the Philippines to IUVSTA. Joe was a valuable member of the Scientific Programme Committee of ISVSP 2016 and ISVSP 2018. As the former Editor-in-Chief of the journal Thin Film (Elsevier), the 1^st ISVSP Conference Proceedings was published in this journal. Joe was also one of the plenary speakers of ISVSP 2016.
